I assume your experience and dx to be different as you seem to not understand. Thank you for your input. I have been living with my dx for a long time and it is pretty textbook for my DX. BPD exhibits other symptoms some related and most not related to being BP1 /Ultrian Cycling. Have a Great night!

BP rapid cycling is weeks not days, hours. The mixed episodes are also from BPD. It actually makes sense if you think about it. Of course I don’t know what your dr is telling you. I don’t think they are all on the same page.

Usually when truly manic you are not sleep deprived. Your body doesn’t need it. I would go months without sleeping and barely notice. It is a little harder now that I am older, but when I am truly manic I don’t miss the sleep or feel tired.
